NAMASTE! GET READY TO SPICE UP YOUR LIFE: THE 44th RATHA YATRA FESTIVAL OF INDIA IS BACK. AND IT’S GOING TO BE EPIC!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC – July 6 & 7, 2024 – Hold onto your turbans and get ready to groove to the beat of the traditional Indian drums, because Montreal’s 44th Ratha Yatra Festival of India is back and better than ever! Get ready for a weekend of non-stop fun, flavor, and festivities as we celebrate the vibrant culture of traditional Vedic India like never before.

Mark your calendars for July 6, noon, at the corner of St. Laurent and Milton, because this is one event you won’t want to miss! We kick off the Ratha Yatra Festival of India with a grand traditional ceremonial parade in full vibrant colours, fanfare, music and mantras while singing and dancing all the way to Parc Jeanne-Mance. Whether you’re a travel buff, foodie, or just looking for a good time, the Festival of India has something for all. Here’s a taste of what’s in store:

2 Days of Performing Arts: Grab a seat to see the free traditional Indian cultural dances, listen in to live musical performances and more. The lineup features many spectacular Indian performing artists.

Dance ‘Til You Drop: Bust a move with classical Indian dance moves at our free workshops. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, it is all good vibes and great tunes!

Feast Like a Maharaja: Calling all foodies! Prepare your taste buds for a culinary journey with a traditional Ayurvedic Sattvic experience specially designed since the beginning of the Indian civilization. From sizzling goodies to sumptuous curries and mouth-watering desserts, our free feast will take you on a blissful flavor adventure you’ll never forget.

Colorful Culture: Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and colors of India with our vibrant cultural showcases. Marvel at intricate henna designs, shop for exquisite Indian treasures, and learn about the rich history and traditions of India through exhibits and demonstrations.

But wait, there’s more! The Ratha Yatra Festival of India wouldn’t be complete without yoga workshops, a kids’ zone and activities for the whole family to enjoy. From yoga sessions and India’s bookstore of traditional spiritual science to face painting, there’s no shortage of Indian experiences to be had!

We’re thrilled to bring the magic of traditional India to Montreal and to share India’s rich culture and heritage with the community. The Ratha Yatra Festival of India is all about celebrating diversity, spreading joy, and creating unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to see you there!

So grab your friends, bring your appetite, and join us for two days of celebration, happiness, and lots of flavour at the Festival of India!
